While I may have never taught in my new school and I have yet to meet my students, all children love and benefit from great read alouds. I will use these books daily in my classroom to engage my students, entertain them, make them think, and build a love of reading. I have specifically chosen some of my favorite read alouds, some classics, and some new books that other educators have recommended. I know the variety of books I have chosen will offer something to all of my students. I can't wait to share these with my class this year, hear their thoughts, watch their faces, listen to their questions, and laugh together.
