The school I work at is a Title 1 school, which means our students are economically disadvantaged. The students in my classroom are terrific, full of curiosity, and enthusiastic about learning. My goal is to keep them engaged and to maintain their love for learning. In our class we use literacy centers as a way of reinforcing skills learned in class. My students love to work in small groups with hands on activities.
