My name is Sally Hale, and I am a teacher of students with special needs at Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana. Students in my program primarily work on life skills including functional academics, independent living skills, and vocational skills with a heavy emphasis on community-based outings. Not only are my students faced with the daily challenges of having a disability, some live in poverty, and many have never traveled outside of Indiana, let alone Evansville. Because of this, it is my dream to help their dreams come true. So, in March, 2017, we are planning a very special "dream outing" that has not yet been announced to the students. My peer tutor, Meghan Stewart, a junior at Bosse High School, has coined this as her senior project! "Feel the Magic" will provide an opportunity for students to participate in this very special Spring Break, 2017 outing.
