Students in my room represent so many different cultures. We proudly talk about our backgrounds, languages, religions and families. More than 90% of my students, including myself, are bilingual and speak a language other than English at home. We try to use our native languages in the classroom as often as possible. We LOVE learning songs, numbers and words in different languages.
