My school is made up of students who come from economically-deprived backgrounds. Many of them don't have home computers; some don't have family cars so their parents can take them to the library on a regular basis. Quite a few of my students are being raised by grandparents and/or in single-family homes where the adults struggle to make ends meet. In spite of all their challenges, my beautiful students come to school with positive attitudes and open minds and hearts; I want to give them the very best I have to offer so that their futures can be as bright and fulfilling as possible.

About my class
