The students in my Humanities 6 classroom come from a diverse background, consisting of both general education and highly capable students. Out school is located in a rural part of Washington, with students coming in from both middle income and very low income areas. Both classes love to hold discussions and debates about the material we read. Sometimes the discussions can get pretty heated! While most of my students have excellent listening and recall skills, there are still several that struggle with read aloud sessions and need to have the physical book in front of them to reference.
