I have 46 students right now and I teach them math and science. I teach at a Title I school which is a school that does not have many resources. The only way to get extra resources for the classroom and for my students is through writing grants such as these. My students are hungry to learn and they love using new and exciting ways to learn. They love to use manipulatives and games to learn. Through this project, I would be able to motivate my students to want to do better through games and real-world problems. The real-world problems will transcend the classroom and they would be able to apply it to their lives. My students mostly come from a low to middle socioeconomic class. If I did not receive a grant like this, they would never get the opportunity to learn in fun and real ways. This project would impact not only these students, but students for years to come.
