My new school is in a quiet, small town. It is a close-knit community that is proud and supportive of the school. I don't know exactly who my students are yet, but I imagine they are like most students anywhere--they want to be challenged, engaged, respected, and loved. This all starts with a relationship, and I try to establish this relationship through student interests and books.
