During whole class teaching I create lots of time for students to talk, move, work together, stand, and build with math manipulatives. However, when I pull my students into a small group for more individualized help with specific skills, I would love for them to have some built in movement. Having these wiggle stools at my U-shaped table would allow us to not drag chairs back and forth from their regular desks, and to allow a little built in "wiggle room" while we work in a smaller group setting with a little more intensive focus.
