This year, I would like to focus on Pointillism in elementary grades by teaching the works of impressionist artists George Seurat and Paul Signac. Bingo daubers are perfect for little hands and gross motor skills. Inks and watercolors emphasize this lesson. Last year, DonorsChoose made it possible to bring clay into our school for the first time! My students LOVED the unit, and it was their number one request for art. The clay requested would give every student in our school the experience of working, shaping, molding, and enjoying clay.
