My students need to give verbal feedback using this mic system so they can advance on their daily lessons. Without it they guess and hope for the right answer. This would make their progress and learning grow exponentially especially my transitional second language learners. My 2nd graders engage in phonics based lessons and to master each skill level, they must accurately speak specific words in order to advance their scores. The goal is for all of my students to learn vowel combinations, to be able to recognize and say their words accurately, and continue achieving at or above grade level given additional supports.
