Some students in middle school struggle with the skills necessary to regulate their emotions and build meaningful relationships. Direct teaching of social skills helps students be successful in school and in life. This project helps with the resources necessary to teach these skills. Having the necessary skills to self regulate emotions is vital for life success. When students are feeling big emotions they need tools available to help them. I will direct teach skills and provide tools to help them calm down. When they are feeling anxious, stressed or angry, these tools will help students learn to cope with big emotions effectively.

About my class
