Welcome to my page! This is my first year teaching Middle School English Language Arts. I teach in a high-need community in East St. Louis, IL, near St. Louis, MO. Many of my students live at or below the poverty line and do not have many of the advantages that most of us take for granted. Although I have four years of teaching experience, my classroom lacks many of the tools needed to make my students successful. My goal is to help provide my students with the supports they need to improve their reading and writing skills.
