I am a special education preschool teacher. My students range in ages three to five. I believe students learn best through a multisensory approach that includes singing, dancing, reading, playing, and hands on experiences. Many of my students are working on speech goals and having pictures posted throughout the classroom allows them to talk about shared experiences with each other and teachers. It allows them to remember what they have done and build upon what they have learned.
