I have been teaching an after school knitting class for 4 years. My students are very much interested in having a chance to learn how to knit at school. They are even more excited when they finish knitting their first project--- usually a scarf, wearing it proudly at school. Though we have no budget at all for the class, and my students can't afford to buy yarns and needles, we managed to save the class by making needles with chopsticks and yarns from generous donors. This class helps our students to focus on something interesting and usual in life.

About my class
