The students I work with are in 1st through 5th grade with emotional and behavioral disabilities. The school is located in a high poverty area. Most of my students only interaction with technology is at school. These students are highly motivated by technology and I know that they want to have access to what they see others using outside of school. They don't have that access. The school is highly involved in PBIS and I see so much potential for these students this coming school year. My goal is to use the iPad air as a teaching tool for projects and group work and also a tool to motivate and promote positive interactions. A win win situation!
