The resources I selected are mentor texts which can be shared in all academic areas. The advances I want my students to acquire are to assist them in becoming stronger writers. These texts will expose my students to different styles of writing, relatable stories or new experiences, exposure to vivid vocabulary while increasing their vocabulary as well as their reading comprehension. Dialogue will be a skill students learn in the story, "Let's Get a Pup!" said Kate I selected a variety of texts which will advance my students in their narrative, opinion, and informative writing skills.

About my class
