The Chromebooks will allow the students to work more efficient with the Google Suite products. Google Suite is comprised of Google Slides, Docs, Google Classroom, and Google Translate for our English language learners. Some of these programs are similar to PowerPoint and Word. Because our district is moving towards a more innovative technology plan, I want to be able to show similar correlations with the technology and collaborative works inside the classroom. We need Chromebooks. You will see the students collaboratively working on group assignments and individual presentations. This alone will promote team building and problem solving. Although writing is still important, our world has moved towards a more digital outlook. In using Goggle Classroom, I will be able to send the students' assignments as well as needed resources to completing them in one place. This will eliminate having students lose their assignments. When working with Google Slides or Docs, work is automatically saved. Having the students to use this technology now will prepare them for what is to come in middle school next year.
