My students are very excited each and every time they come to music. They work hard but I do not have a good inventory of instruments like schools in the suburbs do. My students are a part of a school that belongs to a city school district. It is a high poverty district. We have been very blessed with a new building and a beautiful room that is craving some resources. My students love having the opportunity to come to class and participate in their learning. Unfortunately the district, school, and students do not have the resources to provide our students with the instruments needed to help them succeed. If we have instruments, they tend to be very old and are difficult to fix.
