We are 10th Literature and Composition. The class runs as a reading and writing workshop, where students choose books for independent reading and write about what they read and their opinions about the world around them. They often work in groups to share and present ideas and are encouraged to share their favorite books with the class. We are a Title I school in an incredibly diverse community. My goal is to remind students that reading can lead them to success and be fun at the same time.
