This fall I will be teaching 3rd grade math and science in Hickory Hills, IL. The kids in my room are 30% low income and 70% English as a second language. These kids are given lots of math and science resources from the wonderful district budget. The things I ask for are to make my classroom more inviting for kids to want to come and learn.
