The third grade students I have the privilege of teaching are from a small, rural community. My school is a Title I school, meaning a large percentage of our students are on free and reduced lunch. The parents at my school are supportive and engaged with their children's learning. They only want the best for their children, but not all of the parents are financially able to supply their children with each need.
