My students are a very troubled crew who need a lot of attention and adequate resources in order to create the inspirational human beings that I know that they can become. These students come often come from homes that look as though they should be condemned with little to no support from their families. Many times they live with grandparents who often cannot read. They get most of their support from the school environment.
