My students are capable and highly motivated. They want to learn. They come to school prepared and excited for the day. It is a difficult challenge to be the motivating teacher they deserve. When I mention STEM or hands-on or project, they really come to life. My goal is to continue to provide those exciting, real world experiences that will encourage them to be lifelong learners. Our school is the oldest building in the district and at one time housed the entire district K through 12. However, we are also one of the most proactive elementary schools in our district. This year we have taken on a leadership challenge and are helping our students become leaders with the help of the Franklin Covey Leader in Me program. There are many opportunities for the students in our school and I want to provide educational opportunities that will continue to excite and motivate them.
