My ESL students are eager to learn and want to be able to do so independently. They struggle daily in following the lessons I am teaching, but try their hardest each and every day. In my ELA classroom, most of the students are eager to help. Luckily I have a few students in my room who are bilingual, but the ESL students also need to be able to work independently. Unfortunately, I have no other support in my classroom for these students.
