My students are 6th, 7th, and 8th graders with exceptional learning needs. They attend school in a high-need area in Chicago, IL. Most are currently achieving significantly below grade level. My school is an incredibly supportive environment, with high expectations for all learners. I strive to create a supportive, welcoming, and positive classroom environment in which all of my students are prepared for success. With donors' support, these students can access resources and opportunities that they would not be able to achieve otherwise.
