My classroom is primarily made up of children with special needs; including speech/language needs, cognitive impairments, visual/auditory impairments, autism and academic needs. Most children have had minimal exposure to English. Preschool is their first opportunity to learn English. Some of these children are at risk for not reaching academic proficiency. Most parents of my students are very young and require lots of assistance to access resources. It is my goal to provide and prepare my students and their parents for Kindergarten and beyond!
