My students are brilliant and resilient young people growing up in a rural, agricultural area. Many of them come to school every day from homes where carry a great deal of responsibility to their families. They work. They take care of their siblings. They translate and interpret. Still, their dedication to their education and their willingness to work hard with their futures in mind is impressive. As graduation and college specialists, we work with students one on one to provide the support they need to balance their responsibilities and navigate the college application process. Our goal in the Career Center is to make sure that every student has a solid post-secondary plan, that they know what they are doing once they graduate and that they have access to as many resources as possible.
