I work in a charter school in Northwest Indiana. We serve grades 8-12 and all of our kids receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch every day. I teach 8th grade English. My students are hardworking, especially when they are excited by the content of their lessons. They love wars and military history, as well as books about being in middle school. They love to read, but do not have access to a lot of books outside of school. I want to expand their access by giving them access to all our country has to offer.
