This project is a tote bag filled with engaging learning resources. Inside each bag will be a writing journal with space for illustrations, fiction and nonfiction books, and educational magazines. One of the novels is "Because of Wynn Dixie". We read one chapter in our reading anthology and the class loved the story. They are eager to read the entire book. I have also included water colors to allow the students creative side to come out in their journals. I have several students who are very artistic and need that outlet to express their selves. The tote bags are large enough for the children to keep all of their summer learning materials together in one place. They are also portable for taking on trips or wherever they might go during our summer vacation,
