Every year my students become a part of my family. My students our a rowdy and restless bunch but they are very respectful. The majority of my students have had rough lives and they have experienced more tragedy so far then I have my entire life. For example, there was a student who doesn't have any luxuries but he found money on the floor and instead of keeping it, he did the right thing and gave it to me so I could find the rightful owner. Once these children enter my room on the first day of school I try everything so they can experience the good in life.
