I have 21 intelligent, energetic students. I teach in a dual-language program. My families are very supportive and involved with our little ones education. Our school is in a low socio/economic area, but we take pride in doing the best job possible. The classrooms are not the nicest, but teachers try very hard to purchase items that will light up the rooms and make us all feel proud of the place where we spend most of our time. Our dual language program includes learning about as many cultures, languages, holidays, etc., as possible. Whenever we can, we learn about stories and sing songs using American Sign Language also. I work at an amazing school, with the greatest kids and am blown away by how my little ones can already express themselves in at least two languages. I can't wait to see them in high school when they take on a third/fourth language.
