I would like to thank you for taking the time for you to learn about my classroom. I am currently a special education teacher in a high school setting. My students range from 14 - 22 years of age. This year I would like to focus on our Vocational Program. We have two programs that are set up for our special education students. Our Work Bridge program focus on community and campus jobs, and students that are involved with this program need little support. Their focus is to become as independent as possible when in a job setting. Our other program is a vocational program. This program requires more support, and those that are able to, will transition out of the program, into the work bridge program when ready. Both programs support all of our students to prepare them for future jobs in multiple environments. Please take the time to learn more about what each student is learning, to prepare them for future jobs.
