I teach at a Primary School which means that we only have K-2. I teach first grade Reading. This is my first year and I continue to be amazed at my students growth from the beginning of the year. They are hungry to learn, to read, to experience. I lack the necessary resources to expand their reading experiences. We spend over an hour at centers everyday and need interesting books to keep us engaged and learning. My kids are hilarious, they are smart, sweet, needy and many go without. We have many students on backpack Friday which provides them with food during the weekend when they do not have access to breakfast and lunch.

About my class
