I teach at a rural East Bay Title 1 school where 50-70% of the students receive free lunch. I have students with special ed services and behavioral support needs. My students LOVE our computer lab time which is only once a week for 30 minutes and we only have 3 computers in our classroom to serve all the students. Many of my students do not have an opportunity to use any technology devices at home to support their learning. If we had our very own iPad in the classroom I could motivate ALL learners to continue to excel in all subject areas.
