Welcome to my projects funding page. I am interested in engaging students in project based learning activities where students are challenged to collaborate, critically analyze, and apply their learning. My focus is primarily on the integration of science and technology in the engineering disciplines. I co-run two technology academies at San Rafael High School where I teach (and learn from) students who are interested in learning 21st century skills. The Academy of Physics and Technology is a pre-engineering small learning community where students are enrolled for two or three years in both a science course and a fabrication/design course. Students learn to apply scientific models to solve interesting engineering problems. In the Media Academy, I help integrate video production technology with the humanities.
