The dynamics of our school says alot of who are students are. We are a Title I school which means we are funded by low wealth monies. We have the biggest ESL population for an elementary school in our county. Most of our parents work so they do not have a lot of time to spend with their child working on homework. This creates a big challenge when you are trying to instill a love for learning and to motivate your students to become independent learners.
