Class 2-300 has 24 bright, enthusiastic learners! They are curious, excited, respectful, and grateful. Our classroom is an ICT (integrated co-teaching) class. Our school is in an extremely high needs, high poverty inner city area. Our students are trying to conquer the second grade curriculum! Our students are so passionate about learning despite all of the challenges that they face. They come to school ready to learn even though they are missing parts of their families back in their native country. Many of the families are extremely poor even though all adults are working multiple jobs. We want our students to reach for the stars. We work on their confidence levels daily and let them know we will NEVER give up on them.
