Student can use AutoDesk inventor CAD systems to custom design and print resources used in robotics. A 3D printer is a fantastic way for students to implement the engineering design process in robotics design of parts such as gears, posts, field elements, devices. A 3D printer can be used for all aspects of modern day robotics. One of our clubs new ventures is aerial drone robots. Many of the parts, including props and air frames, can be designed using a 3D CAD system and then printed using a 3D printer. Students can create a robot from beginning to end with the help of a 3D printer.
