In our classroom, we do not have many typical days. Our class is made up of students with severe behavioral and physical challenges. They also come to me with unique intellectual challenges. Depending on their behavior students may spend the day in the general education classroom or in our Special Education classroom. Our goal is for them to enjoy being out in the classroom community for as much of the school day as possible. However, several of these students spend a good portion of their day in my resource room working on IEP objectives and classroom projects. While they are with me, my goal is to encourage and build them up so they can see they are capable of great things.
