My counseling sessions will be more productive and supportive if I am not flipping back and forth from presentations to child’s face. Social/emotional Interactions will be better connected and it will feel more like being in our office when they can see my face looking at them and not trying to manage screens and keyboard while flipping. My special needs students deserve the best of everything. When our school goes to remote learning every few weeks due to COVID it is so important to keep our support consistent and as real as possible. If I had two screens I would be able to see my students when doing presentations and sharing my screen for google class and zoom activities. I flip back and forth now so I miss facial expressions as things are happening.
