I'm an Exceptional Student Education Teacher for special needs students in 3rd grade. My students have all the potential to grow and learn, just not the same way as everyone else. They need hands on learning, they need explicit instruction, they need variety of strategies until one is effective, and they especially need love and patience when being taught. Each student is unique and requires unique and individualized attention. These students are the most needy students who need us as teachers to believe in them so that they can believe in themselves.
