I teach Earth Science to grades 9-12 in an urban school setting. Many of my students have never left their neighborhoods, and most haven't explored the amazing wetlands near us. The students know that in order to graduate they must pass the Earth Science class and the end of course exam. In general, the students like science because occasionally we have experiments and projects to do. I would like to provide my students with the most realistic experiences possible in order to inspire an enduring interest in Earth Science.
