My students are learning about Science, Technology, and Math for the first time in their lives. This STEM project will provide STEM bins where my students experiment with ways to explore and build. I'd love a variety of materials that small groups of kids would be able to work together building and learning while they play. Blocks and other various building materials allow students to be creative and create what they dream up and design. Students will have an opportunity to bring stories to life by building projects based on stories. Students love hearing stories like the The Billy Goats Gruff, The Three Pigs, Rosie Revere Engineer, and Ida Peck Architect. They can make a plan in their heads and use a variety of materials to build structures featured in the stories. They will make adjustments as they go through the process of building.
