I teach fourth grade in a small town in South Carolina. Many of my students are below grade level in reading and math, so I look for creative ways to motivate them and prove that they can succeed. Our school has recently embraced a new curriculum based around inquiry. We integrate subjects and plan our teaching around a problem for the students to investigate. We are always looking for new units that will get our students out of their seats.
