As a teacher I help students learn computer skills as well as how to speak, read, write, and listen in Spanish. I work at a Title 1 school where a lot of students don't have access to a computer and other resources at home. Sometimes the computers in my classroom are the only computers students are able to use. As I teach my students with my available resources, this is the first class they have experiences with these resources, which can lead to many of my students (including many minority students) going into the STEM fields.
