The library needs resources to be a multi-functional space that gives students freedom to translate their classroom academics to real world experiences while capitalizing on a medium that engages students. The Parrot Mambo drones, the Snap circuits and the Sphero robot will give students ownership through exciting hands-on practice using these cutting edge technological devices to which they would not normally have access. The ultimate goal is to see students at different stations throughout the media center coding the devices, problem-solving real world issues and working in groups to challenge, extend, and deepen their learning in this ever-changing technological landscape.
