I teach a technology education class, that all 6th grade students are required to take. My students are incredibly involved, and love learning about new technology. In fact, they sometimes tell ME about the "up and coming" innovations and inventions! I would describe my school as a safe place that provides learning experiences and activities from knitting club all the way to robotics club, (which I began this year and I can proudly say that it is 50% female, in a male dominated area). My students are the type of kids that get muddy playing football with their friends, and also hold the door for other students in the hallway. The kids here make the adults want to be better people.
