I have 135 7th grade students from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are a multicultural school with a student population of about 500 students and roughly 30% of them receive free or reduced. We are in a well maintained beautiful building that is about 15 years old. As a school we've been moving in the direction of updating technology, but as with all districts these days, the funds just aren't there. My students are in the first of three courses that cover World History- a subject that seems to be put on the back burner these days in comparison to Math, Science, and English. They study the first great civilizations. My student are tech savvy- They enjoy using their devices to aid them with classwork. A number of them have download a vocabulary app that I set up for my class and they regularly access my online work. I know they would enjoy having these clickers to engage in class activities. They also know I'm very tech heavy in my classroom and this would compliment their learning
