Most of my 11th and 12th grade students come from lower income homes in metro-Detroit community. Over 74% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students are considered at-risk and are struggling readers and writers. However, this does not prevent them from being enthusiastic about learning and setting goals for achievement.
